Sarah strives to develop design solutions that improve the health, beauty and functionality of the spaces in which we live, work and play. Possessing a range of design education, Sarah has studied Interior Design, Graphic Design and Landscape Architecture + Urban Design. This diverse education provides Sarah with a unique perspective and skill set which she applies to her planning and design approach. |

Pascale strongly believes that Planners and Landscape Architects have a role to play in enabling a more sustainable future. Passionate about various outdoor activities, she values nature and truly understands the need to soften our impact on Earth, by creating harmonious environments. She is dedicated to create high-quality public places enjoyable for all. Holding a Bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Montreal, she is currently pursuing the certification process to become a registered professional. Her degrees in Modern Literature and Anthropology bring Pascale logical rigour and understanding of cultural identities. Throughout her practice, Pascale has been involved with a wide range of projects: residential, institutional, commercial and public. She has been exposed to the various stages of design of a project, from conception, coordination with other consultants to conducting field reviews. The concrete aspect of her practice compliments her design-focus studies to bring to life sustainable solutions. |

Laurel is a recent addition to the administration team with over 8 years of administrative experience and an educational background in urban planning, geography, and sustainable community development. She is passionate about social equity, community engagement, and urban design. Through volunteering and school she has researched sustainable landscaping, environmental and social issues relating to consumption, neighbourhood/community-based design, and sustainable land use planning. In her spare time she can be found hiking, paddling, or snowboarding throughout beautiful BC. |

Daryl’s educational background includes a Geography degree with a focus on environmental management from UBC as well as an Advanced Diploma in Geographic Information System from BCIT. His role at HB Lanarc-Golder Associates includes digital mapping, spatial analysis and data management, and 3D modeling. Daryl has used his GIS skills for a variety of applications including regional planning, resource policy and scenic values management, public engagement and community mapping, agricultural and environmental inventory, and application design and development. Daryl’s interests involve the use of GIS and visualization technologies to effectively communicate spatial information. |

Sebastian holds a Masters in Planning from UBC’s School of Regional and Community Planning. In 2010, Sebastian became one of the first LEED accredited professionals with a specialization in Neighbourhood Development (LEED-ND) in the world. His main areas of practice focus on long-range, strategic, policy, and green development planning. Some of his major projects include the City of Edmonton’s Capital City Downtown Plan, the City of Edmonton’s Green Building Plan, and the City of Vancouver’s LEED-ND Certification Submission. |

Renee is the Division Administrator for HB Lanarc - Golder. Renee joined Golder Associates for the opening of the Terrace branch in 2006 saw the office through various transitions as they grew to be the leading provider of ground engineering and environmental solutions in northwestern BC. Through her flexibility, reliability and strong work ethic she has become an administrative resource for offices throughout the BC region. Renee’s ecclectic educational background ranges from creative to corporate and includes business and interior design. It’s this skill set that lends well to supporting HB Lanarc – Golder’s Sustainable Communities Group and our clients. |

Brandy is a recent transfer from the Golder Burnaby office where she worked as a receptionist for the past 5 years in the 400+ employee office. Her experience focuses on administration on top of volunteer work she does with animal rescue and fostering. She is excited and enthusiastic to be in a position of support working in a place that promotes and supports sustainability. She enjoys the variety reception can bring, meeting new people and learning on the go. In her spare time you will find her knitting, reading and enjoying time with her family walking about the neighborhood and enjoying being in her community in New Westminster.

Sean’s focus is effective policies to reduce community energy use and emissions while promoting health and local economic development. He holds a recent Master’s degree in Planning with a focus on BC local governments, and also brings a keen understanding of Provincial initiatives through his previous experience with BC Hydro and the BC Ministry of Community Development. Sean’s key planning experience and research interests include green buildings, energy efficiency, District Energy, and managing “waste” as a resource. He has been involved in various public consultation processes related to these topics and holds a Certificate in Public Participation. |

Anne-Marie holds professional degrees in Environmental Sciences and a Masters in Landscape Architecture with a focus on site planning, open space frameworks and sustainable community design. Anne-Marie brings strong graphical skills and experience in site analysis, inventory and assessment, site planning, design guidelines and innovative methods for public engagement. Her primary work interest is in exploring the 'liveability' factor of sustainability with a strong belief and passion in community health and enhancement through creative programming and access to natural environments. |

Sarah is an Environmental Planner with ten years of experience. She has worked on a variety of planning projects, including solid waste management, community engagement, and community development. Sarah has particular expertise in waste management planning and strategic planning. Her work has included facilitating the development of solid waste management plans, reviewing and evaluating emerging waste management technologies, conducting feasibility studies for composting programs and facilities, full cost accounting of waste management systems, and developing and running community engagement programs. In addition to technical abilities, Sarah is skilled in project management, facilitation, and conflict management. |

Christina’s work at HB Lanarc-Golder is focused on identity development as well as print publication design and web design. Her passion is solving design problems with smart, unique and environmentally conscious solutions that resonate with the viewer. She enjoys the fusion of practical projects with the creative process. Most recently she designed the identity for the Sustainable Communities Network (pando.sc) which is an online community for local sustainability-focused researchers founded by Mark Roseland of Simon Fraser University. She also created the identity and website for the Healing Cities Institute. She has helped develop brand-consistent designs for the Canadian Institute of Planners Healthy Communities Practice Guidebook, the City of Albany’s Community Social Engagement Guidebook and for many other projects for local Municipalities and Private sector clients. Christina holds an Arts degree with a focus on Visual Arts and Psychology. She also studied graphic design through Emily Carr and the British Columbia Institute of Technology. She finds inspiration in living on the west coast and especially in being close to the ocean.
