Back to ProjectsBack to projects page

These short videos with voice over narration explore active transportation issues facing Canadian towns and cities today. Video footage includes active transportation facilities and the people who use them from all over the world.

Project Example

Our firm designed and developed a 10 minute film entitled "The Market for Active Transportation" to support a workshop delivered by HBL for the Urban Development Institute - Okanagan Chapter. The workshop presented the idea of Active Transportation (human-powered forms of travel, generally walking and cycling) in the context of the emerging LEED for Neighbourhood Development (LEED-ND) green development certification program. Fifty-five participants from the development community (developers, engineers, planners, designers, and municipal staff) took part. The workshop and film were created for the BEAT Initiative (Built Environment & Active Transportation), a project led by the BC Recreation and Parks Association.

Videography is a tool used by HB Lanarc, to document sites, meetings/workshops, or public events. We can provide our clients with the resources and products they may require at any time during, or after a project.
